I don't know a better definition for the word art than this art - that is man - Vincenz van Gogh-

Floren Tina Gekeler's artistic journey is not limited

to her home country. Through art encounters in Myanmar, she was introduced to the traditional art and unique materials of the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Inspired by cultural travel and a focus on art in Asia, South America, North Africa and especially Italy, she has expanded her knowledge of art and created numerous works, which are presented in this exhibition. The artist's works are created from the impressions of her experiences, with encounters with people from different cultures, particularly from Central America and India, having a significant influence on her art. The diversity of representations and customs that she has experienced on her travels is reflected in her works. Gekeler's works are designed to draw the viewer's attention through color and representation. Her love of the colors blue to turquoise is clearly recognizable. Mysticism is not neglected in her works either. The mysterious often lies hidden. Inspired by the hybrid creatures of Greek mythology, in which gods were depicted as humanoids with animal heads, the artist places animal heads on women's bodies and covers them with a lace cloak that conceals secrets. In her works, the talented artist Floren Tina Gekeler reveals her preference for canvas as a surface. Here she can precisely control the application of paint and express the colors in a compact way. Opting for larger formats allows her to bring her artistic ideas fully to life. She has often found that a smaller picture format, for her about 100x100 cm, does not meet the space requirements of her ideas. Acrylic paint is Floren Tina Gekeler's favorite and color pigments are her faithful companions. Depending on the motif, she uses them in combination with other colors to create a harmonious composition. She is particularly interested in mixtures that create textural effects and give her works a fascinating depth. Applying several layers of paint creates the desired expression that makes her works of art shine. Her water paintings are a particular highlight in Gekeler's repertoire. She likes to use resin to enhance the look of water. This technique lends her works a unique vibrancy and allows the viewer to literally immerse themselves in the depths of the water. Floren Tina Gekeler inspires with her ability to combine colors and textures in a magical way. Her works are a feast for the senses and invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a world full of color explosions and aesthetic stimuli. Discover the unique art of Floren Tina Gekeler and let yourself be enchanted by her creativity. The national exhibitions have brought Floren Tina Gekeler's unique artistic vision to a wide audience. From large metropolitan cities to small towns, her works have inspired people of all ages and backgrounds. Viewers have been captivated by the artist's ability to combine colors and textures into a harmonious composition. But Floren Tina Gekeler has also celebrated great international success with her works. Art lovers all over the world have visited her exhibitions and have been inspired by the impressive explosions of color and the extraordinary technique of her works.
