Vita
Floren Tina Gekeler, born in
Schwabmünchen (Bavaria),
comes from an artistically
oriented family. Her artistic
career took her from
Schwabmünchen to
Reutlingen, where she can
show her first painting results
and study work with Ernst
Eiting. As a frequent guest in
Hap Grieshaber's studio in
Reutlingen, she deepened her
artistic skills.
She continued her study work under the guidance of
Gabriele Siebert and Gudrun Gantzhorn. At the Academy
of Art in Metzingen she devoted herself to the “Structures”
semester. In addition, she broadened her artistic
perspective through studies and encounters with well-
known artists in various countries such as Myanmar,
Vietnam (especially in the Mekong Delta), Laos (Luang
Prabang), Mexico, Guatemala and the South Seas.
Floren Tina Gekeler deepened her artistic knowledge at the
Ital-art Associazione Culturale per la Promozione dell'Arte
Italiana and at the University of Colorado Center in La
Poggerina Figline Valdarno near Firenze.
She continued her education at the Academy of Fine Arts in
Kolbermoor. There she studied painting with renowned
artists such as Friedrich Dickgiesser, Leander Kresse and
Armin Tölke. Studying painting with Prof. Markus Lüpertz at
the Kolbermoor Academy lasted from 2016 to 2019.
Floren Tina Gekeler presents her works in various
exhibitions, including the Reutlingen Art Days and
exhibitions in Oliver Gekeler's practice. She also shows her
impressive paintings at Marcus Schneider with the project
"Cooking Concept", Edith Koschwitz, the cultural workshop
BT 24, the Albgut Münsingen and a solo exhibition at the
Norbert Nieser photo gallery in Degerloch.
On a private level, Floren Tina Gekeler presents her art by
invitation in various desFloren Tinations. Planned
exhibitions are in preparation and will follow.
